Safeguarding at May Park

At May Park Primary School safeguarding children is a core part of our provision. All staff and volunteers are trained in safeguarding and safety procedures. Our Designated Safeguarding Lead is Tracey Kildea. Mrs Kildea is a part of the Senior Leadership Team and leads our school both strategically and operationally in ensuring that our safeguarding response is effective.

We expect all staff, volunteers, parents, carers and the wider school community to share our commitment to keeping our children safe. All visitors to our school are reminded of their safeguarding responsibility and any who do not have recognised, currently valid Enhanced DBS clearance will be accompanied by a member of staff at all times.

Our page below has information on our 'Safeguarding Team', 'Reporting Concerns' and 'Antibullying'. For information on how to stay safe online please visit our 'Online Safety' page. Here is the link to our MPP Safegarding and Child Protection Policy September 2022.docx  Other Related policies can be found on the 'Policies' section of the website under 'About Us'
